Irish authorities on flood alert
Preparations are being made due to the storm warnings
Irish defence force personnel are on standby in coastal areas as severe weather conditions are forecast.
The worst of the weather is expected on Sunday night and into Monday morning.
Heavy rain and strong winds are forecast with between 20 and 30mm of rain expected to fall on Sunday evening and early on Sunday night.
Flood warnings remain in place on eastern and western coasts due to high tides and strong winds.
Aircraft are also at the ready if they are required.
Coastal towns and cities remain on flood alert as the storm, developing in the North Atlantic, heads towards the south and west of the country.
Flood alerts have been issued in Dublin, Waterford, Cork, Clare and Galway.
