Sneeuw in Noorwegen, boven 600 m

feiten zijn van gisteren....
Dit was het berichtje van de in Noorwegen wonende Engelsman Mike:
"With 12 inches of snow having fallen just 2 weeks ago, it is now snowing again We only have an inch on the ground now but it is moderate at times.... albeit on the wet side of course. I may take a few snaps tomorrow if it is anything worthwhile.

That is now 4 out my 5 June's here where we have had measurable snow. I can safely say that it is very much the norm to have snow here in June. The surrounding mountains in view from my house were still white yesterday from about 1300m... though the snow is now back down to 600m at village level. Even when things do finally get warmer through July, the snow capped mountains do cheer me up as snow always remains within sniffing distance

It is currently -0.5c with visibilty down to 1000m in moderate snowfall with a light WNW'ly breeze."

Ook niet echt ongewoon daar, ik meen dat de sneeuwgrens daar rond de 1300 m ligt, of is dat nu ook al hogere door de tempsprong ?
