July shocker

If you thought the summer so far was bad, then watch out, as the Met Office is predicting a July shocker for southern Britain this week. Strong winds and heavy rain are forecast across southern counties of England and Wales through Wednesday and Thursday, bringing disruption to some areas.
Winds of 50 m.p.h. are likely, and up to 50 mm of rain could fall across many areas, with the chance of 70 mm in some locations. Localised flooding and fallen debris will add to the poor conditions for travellers.
Although not a record breaker, this weather is certainly unseasonal for July, with the combination of strong winds, heavy rain and depressed temperatures making it feel more like November.
