The air pressure anomaly shows that pressure is expected to be higher than average across much of the country, as well as into Scandinavia, so with the continent still expected to be on the cold side, occasional cold shots from the east are a possibility. With pressure higher than average though, rainfall amounts are expected to be below average in many parts.
