The wind is really kicking up now. Holy crap this is scary. We've emptied out our walk-in closet (the ONLY interior space without windows) and filled it with blankets, pillows, a bed for our 21-year-old cat, water, candles, flashlights and a deck of cards. I'm almost to the point of making us go in there. It's going to be a loooong night.
Wishing everyone in the path of this storm safety! May all the animals living outside be safe too.
A HUGE scary freaking gust just came through and sounded like 18 wheeler was driving down our street full speed. We're going to lose power any minute. Over and out.
