Per jaar valt er gem. 132 cm aan regen. Tot vandaag is er dit jaar volgens het weerstation ca. 15 inch = 46 cm gevallen (jaarsom minus dagsom). Dat zou kunnen. Maar nu regent het met 15 inch per uur!.
Ik wist dat orkanen voor zeer veel neerslag kunnen zorgen, maar dit is toch wat ongeloofwaardig.

Het neerslagrecord van een Hurricane is dus 75 inch in enkele dagen tijd. Dat wordt vandaag in een halve dag bereikt (als je het station mag geloven).
