The Central Meteorological Office of CMA has issued a blue category warning for cold wave at 6:00 a.m. today:
In the next 24 hours from 8:00 a.m. today there will be a drop in temperature by 6-8 degrees Celsius affecting central-eastern Northwest China, Inner Mongolia, North China, most parts of Yellow-Huaihe River basin, eastern Yangtze-Huaihe River basin, eastern south of the Yangtze, South China, and eastern Yunnan. The temperature in parts of Hetao area, southeastern Inner Mongolia, northeastern North China and central-southern Northeast China will drop 10-12 degrees with isolated 14 degrees. North of the Yangtze River will see northerly wind with scale 4-6. (Dec. 22)
