First just a little info about ECMWF:
After all the recent upgrades, the operational run has horizontal resolution 0.125°/16km, till 240h. Control run has horizontal resolution of 0.25°/30km all the way till 384h. Ensembles have resolution of 0.25°/30km till 240h, and 0.5°/60km from 240h to 384h. Vertical resolution of the operational and the control run is 91 levels, with the top at 0.01hpa, while ensembles have 62 levels, with the top at 5hpa.
