Round Of Rumbles & Temperatures Tumble
Low pressure to our North is dragging a cold front through the region this morning. The "fropas" or frontal passage will eventually shift our winds to the Northwest and will trigger more scattered showers and potentially strong thunderstorms through the day. We'll be mired in growing clouds in between the rain. On the backside of the departing system, it appears clouds will remain stubborn across Southeast Wisconsin especially East on Saturday. With an upper level low spinning spokes of energy our way, there could be an isolated shower, though the day will be far from a washout. The cooler air mass will feel more "Autumn-like" with high temperatures hard pressed to get out of the 60s. High pressure takes over for the finish of the weekend with decreasing clouds and more sunshine Sunday helping to boost reading back to at least 70 degrees. Still, that's short of the 80 degree "normal" high temperature for this time of year.
