Check out the snow which has accumulated in the blizzard raging in western South Dakota. This shot comes from Kimberly Truckenbrod from Spearfish, South Dakota. Snowfall there's topped 30" according to the photo Kimberly has sent us. A message just sent from Butte County Emergency Management indicates all travel is being banned in and around Belle Fourche SD and indicating citations will be issued for anyone who attempts to head out there. They report trees and powerlines are down, visibilities are down to 50 yards or less and emergency vehicles are having trouble getting through. Winds gusts of 59 and 64 mph have been reported in western South Dakota with 74 mph gusts reported in sections of eastern Wyoming. Snowfall's now hit 33" at Lead; 26" Marquette WY; 24" Dean MT & Buffalo WY; 20" McLeod MT; 15" Crowheart WY; 12" downtown Rapid City and 10" Piedmont, SD.
