Wat ik deze week allemaal misloop 🙁

Bericht van: Ronald (Oak Creek, Wisconsin) , 15-12-2013 17:05

After a very light overnight dusting of snow, the arctic air returns yet again to southeastern Wisconsin. Despite clearing skies, temperatures will not make it even into the mid-teens today and when you factor in a 10-20 mph wind from the west, it will feel more like the single digits below zero. The clouds increase again tonight but that will not help keep us warm. Low temperatures will hover near zero degrees and wind chill values will be in the single digits below zero for everyone.

A quick clipper system brushes through on Monday, bringing some light snow by the afternoon hours. Most locations should see near 1" of new snow, though a few spots could see a little more before the snow ends Monday night. Temperatures warm up into the 30s by Tuesday with a little help from the sunshine and a turning southerly wind. Seasonable temperatures stick around for Wednesday with a few more clouds.

A complex storm system moves in on Thursday but with the warmer air, there is a chance for rain, sleet, freezing rain and then eventually snow by Thursday night as colder air wraps around the backside of the system. A lot can still change with this storm, especially since southeastern Wisconsin is very close to the rain/snow line so we are keeping a close eye on this one. Light snow and falling temps are expected Friday and into the weekend.
