A clipper-type low pressure will bring accumulating snow to the state overnight tonight and Tuesday. The snow will move into western sections just after midnight and spread east, with all of southern Wisconsin seeing snow for the Tuesday morning commute. Even though the snow will be tapering off from west to east Tuesday afternoon, after dropping 4 to 6 inches in northern sections and 2 to 4 inches in the south, the evening drive home will be made difficult by north to northwest winds gusting up to 30 mph, causing blowing and drifting snow with reduced visibilities.
