January thaw on Monday...Tuesday Snow
A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for Milwaukee, Waukesha, Jefferson, Walworth, Racine and Kenosha Counites starting at 7am Tuesday until midnight for a potential 2-5" of snow.
A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for Sheboygan, Fond du Lac, Dodge, Washington and Ozaukee Counties from 7am Tuesday until midnight for a potential 5-7" of snow.
Lows tonight will be in the mid 20s with light snow developing after 6am. Less than 1" of accumulation is expected by 7am. Snow is likely throughout the day on Tuesday with highs around 31 and the wind increasing to 20-30 mph out of the NW. Blowing snow should not be a huge issue since this snow will be sticky. Expect about 2-5 inches of snow during the day, with higher amounts to the north
Tuesday night clears out with temperatures falling into the single digits with gusty wind, blowing snow and wind chills of - to -15.
Wednesday is sunny and cold with highs in the teens and wind chills near 0.
Then we get into a roller coaster ride with temperatures with a high of 31 and flurries and strong winds on Thursday, sunny and 15 on Friday, light snow and 20 on Saturday and sunny and 18 on Sunday....finally a typical winter pattern.
