Living in Boise, Idaho, we frequently see inversions in the valley during the winter months. Of course, we are experiencing this once again, so I decided to try to capture a unique picture. Travelling up Bogus Basin Rd after class, I drove up to around 4800 ft which put me above the inversion. It was definitely quite the sight, and others thought the same since there were quite a few cars already parked where I decided to stop. Being the adventuresome person I am, I opted to hike away from the crowds a bit and experience the beauty privately. Thankfully, I was rewarded with this view (which was exceptional!)
