CFS Version 2 graphics are updated during the day as new runs/monthly forecasts are completed by NCEP

The CFSv2 model configuration includes 16-forecast runs per day of various lengths and types. Here, monthly mean data is presented from 9-month long forecast integrations each 6-hours at 00z, 06z, 12z and 18z. These are "control" forecasts and do not include any initial perturbations as with ensemble type runs.

4 runs per day are averaged over various time windows for the monthly mean "target" months/seasons.

For more detailed, weekly and sub-monthly or intraseasonal forecasts, please hop over to the CFSv2 Weekly page which will include additional variables.
