I have seen such FI charts many many many times before and I must remind (and warn) newer members that to avoid dissapointment do not look at any charts beyond 5 days and expect any sort of accuracy. In 5 days zonality should begin, and even that seems like a total change from this weather we have at the moment, and seem to have had for several weeks.

I really can't get enthusiastic about the prospects of a snowy Christmas with raging zonality knocking on the door. WHY do people STILL take ANY notice of FI runs espceially when they change their minds with virtually every run??? Recent bitter experience shows we rarely get a quick "blast" of zonality The “quick blast” is reserved for the polar air!
I hope I'm wrong, but I feel the only bitter experience people will feel this winter is bitter disappointment - why do it to your selves folks!

Ahh and there goes the GFS again going from mild to a cold run, it seriously can't make its mind up. As ever the ENS will show how much confidence can be put into the operational run. Wonder if you can sue the producers of the GFS model if someone has a heart attack because of the constant changes from mild to cold...
