Maar het kan natuurlijk zijn dat de wervel nog enigszins opleeft. Voor ons heeft het weinig impact, want een final warming komt elk jaar voor.
Dat kan, maar zou wel bijzonder vroeg zijn. De vroegste SFW's (final warming) vielen allemaal in het 2e decade van Maart. Vroege SWF zijn wel waarschijnlijker na een winter zonder major SSW's.
