This January is so far a disaster! I agree to a large degree, esp given the immediate outlook is looking very bleak. The warmest start to January ON RECORD reads the headlines in today's national papers here Norway has NEVER been as mild as it ha sbeen through the first 12 days in January Ok...it is snowing as I write () but despite this, it has been very mild and the snow falling now is wet at nearly 2c It is January! Normally, it is between -20c and -35c now.... -40s have been registered dozens of times here with the record being -45c. So... it is all relative but I think that EVERYWHERE is way over normal
