"After a major ice storm on January 8th, these icicles got tired of hanging down," says photographer Julie McNickle of Carbondale, Kansas. "The weight on the top of the wire became heavier than the icicled bottom, and so the wire 'twisted,' sending the icicles pointing up. It was a definite eye catcher."
