Dooiend Yedoma permafrost stoot onverwacht veel lachgas uit

Volgens deze studie 10 tot 100 maal meer dan verwacht en ook veel hoger dan wat daar begin deze eeuw werd gemeten.

Een 300 keer zo sterk broeikasgas dan koolstofdioxide is niet iets om te negeren lijkt mij. Zeker niet omdat het om een gigantische oppervlakte gaat die vanwege het hoge ijsgehalte gevoelig is voor smelt.
