Weerwoord | Re: SSW en mogelijke uitwerking: artikel van onze Engelse weervrienden

Als ik het goed begrijp, geeft hij aan dat de aankomende SSW waarschijnlijk (naar zijn mening) weinig tot geen uitwerking zal krijgen op ons weer. De opwarming in de stratosfeer die recentelijk plaatsvond heeft ons het huidige koudere weertype bezorgd. Het herstel van de PV is fors te noemen en kijkend naar de NAO index, laat dit nog niet gelijk een hoopvol signaal zien naar weer negatieve waarden. Zijn er andere drivers die e.e.a. kunnen overrulen? MJO-fase bijvoorbeeld? Kan iemand anders hier eens zijn licht over laten schijnen, Sebastiaan? Paul?
