"HURRICANE KATRINA SLAMS INTO GULFPORT MISSISSIPPI AT 145 MPH !!"
"We rode out the devastating hurricane Katrina in Gulfport, protected by a concrete parking garage. The intensity of Katrina is hard to put into words but the entire area we were in was demolished. A few blocks away it looked like a giant tornado swept through. Houses and buildings completely brought down to the ground, boats carried a half mile inland and there is debris everywhere. Many thanks to Mark Robinson, Scott McPartland and Dave Lewison for helping contribute to a safe chase.
My sincere condolences go out to those along the Gulf Coast who are in the middle of this truly historic tragedy"
