The Weather Channel:
"The 20th tropical storm of the Atlantic Hurricane Season has formed in an unusual location: between the Azores and Canary Islands (about 515 miles ESE of the Azores). Tiny Tropical Storm Vince blossomed from a non-tropical low and, in fact, could be called either a tropical or subtropical system. Whatever it is, it probably has a brief life expectancy as it is forecast to be absorbed by an apporaching cold front tomorrow not too far off the coast of Portugal."

Hoe kan daar in godsnaam een tropische storm onstaan die nog geen diameter heeft van 300km? Het water is er toch niet eens warm genoeg?!

Is dit de eerste (echte) Tropische storm voor europa?
