Nadat Michael ruim 30 cm sneeuw had vrijdag is de dooi er alweer ingetreden. het wil ook met de Scandi-winter niet lukken.
Zijn commentaar spreekt boekdelen:
The mild weather has pushed in as expected. The winter is one quarter of the way through and has so far been INCREDIBLY mild. Snow is having a tendency to thaw which is quite a rare event in Lesjaskog at this time of year. Tuesday evening will be close to setting yet another record... a warm December record this time. It seems that every month a new warm record is being set! 2003 will go down as the year that temperature records were smashed with most stations across Norway setting numerous warm records. Will this extremely unusal weather continue? The short answer is YES. It will be Thursday before colder weather tries to spread in with some potentially heavy snowfall. The prognosis is EXTREMELY uncertain for the second half of the week and so we must wait for further developments within the next day or so...
