Activity from the CME observed early on 13 December is expected to impact the geomagnetic field by mid to late UTC on day 1 (14 December) of the forecast period.
Of te wel tussen 12 en 18 UT 1 dag na de explosie, in een eerder bericht noemen ze 18UT:
"As a result of this activity, a significant geomagnetic storm is expected to impact the Earth approximately 1800 UTC, 14 December (1:00 P.M. EST)."
