Turkish Weather Bureau has announced that heavy snowfall is expected across the country beginning from tonight. Authorities said snowy weather will continue until Thursday.
Temperature will drop under 0 degrees across Turkey on Wednesday. Snowfall will mostly be effective in the Black Sea region.
According to meteorological data, today (Monday) Northern areas and East regions will have cloudy skies. Snowfall will begin in the Eastern Marmara, Western Black Sea, East Anatolia and Southeast Anatolia late tonight.
Istanbul weather bureau has also warned people for heavy snowfall and storm which is expected to start late tonight.
Istanbul Weather Bureau Manager Mustafa Yıldırım has told to Anadolu Agency reporters that late tonight heavy rains will be followed by a snow storm in Istanbul. Yıldırım said the bad weather will leave the region on late Wednesday night.
