mensen laat je geen angst aan praten het klimaat op aarde verandert al eeuwen en nu dus ook.
Dus? Daarmee is het verhaal over? Voor mij niet. Ik kijk graag wat verder dan mijn neus lang is. Ik kijk bijvoorbeeld ook naar wáárdoor het klimaat verandert. De laatste 40 jaar is dat in hoofdzaak het gevolg van de collectieve activiteiten van de mensheid. Daar kan je over gaan treuren, maar je kan er ook iets aan doen. Bang zijn is ook nergens voor nodig, in de eerste plaats omdat er genoeg reden is om aan te nemen dat we ons zowel kunnen aanpassen op veranderingen die onvermijdelijk nog gaan komen alsmede om aan te nemen dat we in staat zijn onze bijdrage aan de klimaatverandering te reduceren, zodat we de boel er niet erger op maken dan het al is. Angst werkt hoe dan ook verlammend en zal vooruitgang en verbetering in de weg zitten. Niet alleen vanuit wetenschappelijk oogpunt is het ophangen van doemscenario's ronduit fout, het is immers onverantwoord, het zorgt er ook voor dat adequate beleidsvoering wordt gedwarsboomd.
Voor de rest heb ik geen zin om weer allerhande vragen te beantwoorden, uiteraard weet ik dat het mij vrij staat om onverschillig te zijn en die te negeren maar dat ligt niet in mijn karakter, daarom hieronder een lijstje van postings waarin je al veel antwoorden kan vinden.
