I fancy saying a few words tonight in that a return to colder conditions is now very likely from Sunday onwards as a PM airmass returns. What the models will condinue to display is a southerly sinking jet and with it, we'll go colder from the 9th to average tempertaures slowly evolving to much below normal temperatures mid month as Northerly winds return along with a Greenland block. After the arctic outbreak, I think cold and frosty high pressure conditions will dominate the rest of the month.
