Cold ahead?
So is there any sign of colder weather? Well although we expect a mild winter overall there will be a few cold snaps. The next one is expected during the second half of January. This may well develop into the coldest spell of the winter with significant snow falling in north eastern areas. Another cold snap is likely during the middle of February with the possibility of some further snow in places.
