UK Outlook for Friday 30 Nov 2007 to Sunday 9 Dec 2007:
The weather during the period as a whole is likely to be rather unsettled. Rain and showers will be most persistent in northwestern areas, where it will be breezy with strong winds and gales from time to time, southeastern parts often seeing somewhat better conditions with less rainfall and mostly mild temperatures. There is very little overall change as we go into the following week, unsettled weather expected to return east to most parts of the UK. Northern Britain will see the risk of snow at times over higher ground, particularly Scottish mountains, and here there continues the risk of gales, possibly severe. Temperatures generally around normal, but mild at times in the south and southeast.
