Ik denk een tikkeltje overdreven... maar zoals iemand op TWO eens schreef, 2cm sneeuw op de M25 in Londen en het is al chaos.

ADVANCE WARNING OF SEVERE WEATHER

Here is an ADVANCED WARNING of Heavy Snow affecting Scotland, Northern Ireland, England and Wales.
Issued by the Met Office at 09:40 on Monday, 26 January 2004.
This is the third update to that issued at 0900 on Friday 23 January 2004.
Colder weather will continue to spread south across the country during today and tomorrow and the Met Office is expecting substantial snowfall in some areas. Accumulations exceeding 10cm are likely in places with drifting where strong northerly winds develop.
The greatest risk of heavy snowfall is on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and this will mostly occur over northern and eastern counties of Scotland and England, where there is a risk of exceptionally severe conditions, with accumulations of 15cm or more.
Prolonged heavy snow showers are also possible in western parts at times. Night-time temperatures will fall well below zero Celsius, with ice on untreated roads. Dangerous driving conditions are expected and some untreated roads are likely to become impassable.
