Strong convection is ongoing within a strongly-sheared and unstable air-mass. Numerous supercells are ongoing over NE Italy and the northern Adriatic Sea. The storms are likely producing large to very large hail along with damaging winds and will probably continue to do so during the evening hours as they move eastward. A number of tornadoes, some strong (F2+), are possible, especially as low-level shear strenghtens during the evening..
The storms will probably cluster gradually and organize into one or more MCSs capable of producing widespread severe (25+ m/s) and localized extreme (32+ m/s) gusts. The activity will gradually translate ENE-ward into Slovenia and Hungary..
