Here it has been raining for 4 continuous days. We got many landslides here.
We are forced to stay at dark since three days due to the collapse of the main electricline at our village caused by a landslide.
So our telephone including mobile is not working due to lack of electricity to charge the battery.
Today I brought my phones to town to recharge the batteries so that we can use them again.
People east from our village have no electricity.
the Rupalake is becaming very big covering the whole fields up to almost the schoolbuilding. Our measuring pot measured Tuesday, 150mm, Wednesday 46mm, Thursday 146mm and this morning within 4 hours 85mm.
There are many landslides near the roads allover.
I have heard 2 houses collapsed in Kalika and this morning 2 houses swept away by land slides injuring a old lady.
Many ricefields are also swept away.
Luckily no huge damage within the village yet. People are really panicing as it is still raining. Nepal is facing big problems of flooding in eastern Nepal. Many villages are drawn by river water and more than 50,000 families are displaced.
