Extreme weather warning over snow
Roads could be plagued by snow at the start of the week
The first snowflakes have begun to fall over eastern England - as forecasters warn of the heaviest and most widespread snowfall for six years.
East Anglia, Lincolnshire and the Midlands are already experiencing fairly heavy snow showers.
Kent, London, Surrey and Hampshire will see up to 15cm of snow overnight, with much of England and Wales set to be severely affected by Monday.
Severe disruption is expected to roads and airports, with the M2 hit first.
