More than 40 people have died in Morocco as a result of severe rainfall and snow. Most victims were buried underneath the rubble of their collapsed houses.
On Thursday, six members of one family were killed when the roof of their home in the Atlas Mountains collapsed under the weight of the snow. The region has seen two weeks of continuous snowfall and dozens of families have lost their homes.
Other parts of Morocco have been hit by torrential rain. In Casablanca, one person was killed on Friday after the rain caused a storage space wall to collapse.
