Millions of commuters are facing travel misery with "severe" weather predicted for the next 24 hours and warnings of more than 40cm (16in) of snow.Exceptionally heavy snow - of 30cm to 40cm - is being forecast for Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Surrey, Oxford, Wiltshire and Hampshire.
