And still it comes... Britain faces snow and rain well into March say forecasters

Icy weather returned to Britain overnight with parts of northern England seeing five inches of snowfall.
And the wintry conditions are set to last into March with forecasters predicting snow in the North over the weekend and heavy rain in the South.
Heavy snow and ice caused disruption to roads in Durham this morning and several major routes were closed.

Following a brief spell of milder weather towards the end of the week, forecasters say the icy weather will return to northern England over the weekend.
A spokesman for the Met Office said: 'After a brief period of mild weather in the North, snow will return on Saturday.'
While temperatures may reach 10c, parts of southern England and Wales are set to see heavy rain over the next few days, with the unsettled wintry conditions lasting into March.
A spokesman for the Met Office said: 'The heaviest rain will be over the south of England and parts of south Wales. Next week continues to be unsettled.'
Forecasters predict 15-25mm of rain will fall across the South and have issued a weather warning for central and southern England.
